Master of Micro Willard Wigan

I’ve recently been photographing some artwork for Birmingham based artist Willard Wigan MBE

This may seem like an easy assignment, but Willard’s artwork is not your normal type of art – they are micro sculptures.
Willard is the world’s greatest microsculptor, with much of his work invisible to the naked eye. Once magnified, the detail in his art is spellbinding – you simply won’t believe your eyes! He is even listed in the Guinness Book of Records for the smallest artworks in history and has been awarded an MBE for his services to art.

Most of his sculptures are so small that they need to be viewed using a microscope.

Here’s some of the recent photos that I’ve taken of his amazing work.
